seeds-germination Is it too late to start seeds?

IMO - it's too late for superhots. If you start them now and have to overwinter, they may or may not survive. Overwintering, at least for me, has not been an exact science. A lot of time and effort for a few meager pods, if that. Better off to wait until January and get an early start for next year. As wordwiz pointed out above, growing indoors is expensive. Plant some Jalapenos and Fresnos if you have to have something this year, they crank out pods pretty quick. I've put then in the ground as late as July here and still had a decent crop.
