Yesterday afternoon, coming home from the grocery store, I was listening to a "Fresh Air" segment on NPR about songwriter/singer Sam Baker.  I had never heard of Sam Baker before but was held captive by this interview - [SIZE=14.3999996185303px]serendipity can be such a blessing[/SIZE].  I pulled the truck in front of the house and listened to the rest of the program.  I spent some time last night and tonight looking over his work.
 
His playing and singing are a bit course and unpolished at best, but good God what power his performance wields.
I think, if his lyrics don't touch your soul, you may not have one.
