New Garden Advice in SEQ

Hi,
I'm looking to move from pots to ground. What do we think of this spot? It's westerly facing but has tree cover. Gets full sun from about 11:00 - 15:00.
Too hostile or should be ok?

Cheers,
Lachlan.

my people have been growing in terraces for over a thousand years. it looks like a great location to me. =D

just find a way to get irrigation on there and you're golden.

The terrace should be fine, but what about the soil itself? Is it fertile? I would lay down at least 1" of compost or worm castings to help enrich the soil before you plant.

I can definitely picture several rows of mature pods on that wall !! If you do it take a pic from the same position before harvest and post the comparison!

It all depends on the soil. If its rocky or lots of clay then you may want to re-consider. Is it terraced because rocks were picked out of the soil or were the rocks brought in to landcape?
