New Supermarket

A new supermarket opened near my house.

It has an automatic water mister to keep the produce fresh.

Just before it goes on, you hear the sound of distant thunder and the smell of fresh rain.

When you pass the milk cases, you hear cows mooing and you experience the scent of freshly mowed hay.

In the meat department there is the aroma of charcoal grilled steaks with onions.

The sound of a breeze in the trees and water in a babbling brook welcomes you to the fish display.

When you approach the egg case, you hear hens cluck and cackle and the air filled with the pleasing aroma of bacon and eggs frying.

The bread department features the tantalizing smell of fresh baked bread & chocolate chip cookies.

I don't buy toilet paper there any more.

That's good CP....just plain good...

Way funny, sounds like a good opener for Jay Leno, That made my day CP. Believe or not, Nature's calling.

Funny, mos produce sections here DO have that auto-misting thing with a warning sound (usually is thunder) so customers don't get wet. ;)

A few years ago one of the supermarkets near me also had a plastic monkey that swung above the bananas and made noises, dancing yogurt pots above the dairy section, and rooster and hen noises by the eggs.

Just imagine what they'd have in Japan...

Interestingly, after a few nasty outbreaks of Legionnaire's disease in the early 80's, most of the supermarkets in my area of NJ got rid of those misters.
