soil-media Peat moss only as a medium for indoor growing?

I was thinking, is it possible to only use peat moss (maybe mixed in with Miracle Gro potting mix), as a medium for smaller pepper plants? My thinking was that I'll move the germinated seeds from the condiment cups/ziplock bags to solo cups filled with peat moss. I'll be using the double cup method so all the plant will get all it's nutrients from the fertilizer (and I'll add some water soluble fert. on the top till the roots start expanding). Do you think this will work?

Peat moss on its own is imho not a good mix. This is why promix has perlite in it to keep it airy. Try some potting mix or similar from big box stores it should have added airation in the form of bark or other stuff. Hope this helps
