seeds-germination pod not hot - what about seeds?

I see theres a few factors that can influence the heat of my pods and most that ive picked so far have been dissapointing as I was expecting loads more kick.
 
So my question is will the seeds from these pods produce an inferior plant? Or would the heat be correct for the next generation?
 
Individual pods from the same plant can be milder or hotter than the average pod off that plant. Also, I have found that very early season and very late season pods are usually milder than full-season pods. What types of plants are you growing?
