seeds Seed viability

Similar story: I bought dried bhut jolokias +/- 10 pods. I took out about 200+ seeds. I also read these are oven dried, but I tried anyway - just for fun, you never know. I put ALL in the dirt. And I was lucky. After 3-4 wks 1 seed germinated and I have a little seedling (hopefully India origin). I waited another 2wks for the rest, but that was it, they got cooked. So, there is always hope

Less than 0.5% says not worth it to me. Not that I was planning on buying them for the seeds (I use quite a lot of these anyway) but it was something to try whilst I watch my other plants :D
