pickled Simple way to pickle?

I'm on the verge of my biggest harvest yet, possibly today. I will freeze a good majority so I can get the true flavor of each variety. I know when thawed they become soggy but I was wondering can chiles go from frozen to pickled in a jar? Also can someone tell me a simple pickling method? Something that lasts awhile on the shelf with simple ingredients? It would be helpful I might get what I need at the supermarket tomorrow.
 
aybe too late, but once frozen they will besoggy. You can pickle em but they will still be soft. Doing a pickle with fresh chiles will keep thema little crisper. If you can do a cold pickle that will keep them more crisp.
