overwintering Single bedroom apartment winter pepper growing

Your off to a good start and you have the right idea in mind, but if you want to maximize your harvest your gonna want to invest in a HID lighting a hood and a good can fan. I picked up a used MH/HPS ballast for cheap so I can use the MH to get the plants big and bushy then switch the bulb to focus on fruiting the plant. I started off with a standard hood, but then upgraded to a "cool tube" so I can get the light closer to the plants. Then I cut a small square in the closet to exile the hot air from the tube to an outside patio. The only problem is I started off with about 20 plants and ended up with 3 due to the huge size the plants grew. From start to finsh the plants grew about 4 months and I got about 8 lbs of fruit in all then they all went outside to keep growing since it was now warm enough.

Here is an old beginning pic.
