I was a customers house and he had 2 plants of this, they were all black, they are very strong smelling, i thought it was cayanne cause said they turn red at one point, she said they got from green to black and then finally red.
what is this?

Looks like Goats Weed from Venezuela. C. annuum, Should be very hot. Plant leaves are grayish, or silvery green and somewhat skinny. Stems and leaves are pubescent making a fantastic looking plant.
