When should I pot up?

Hi all,

This is my first season growing from seeds so i need a little bit of advice. My plants are currently 1"-2" tall, i started them in egg cartons and most are in single sections except for 2 of them. They have gotten their first set of leaves but they have stopped growing now. Should i move them to something bigger like maybe a Solo cup or will they be too fragile to move at this point.

Thanks in advance!

It might be time. Egg cartons aren't as deep as cell trays, so I can see where the roots would fill up those quicker. Do you have true leaves?

If they only have the tap root, you can move them, but be careful not to damage the taproot, and try to keep the dirt intact around the taproot

They still seem very fragile so when I pot them up could I just scoop all the dirt out of the section of the egg carton and put that into the dirt filled Solo cups?
