I'll save you some extra plants Canuk, but next time try the paper towel tecnique as GB explained. Its a good way to test your seeds.

I found that trimming a tiny edge off of the seeds helped speed up germination.

Wasn't there a box of seeds that was being passed around in a different subforum?

I had the same thing happen with my Ethiopian Thunder, Wiri Wiri, Nipples, and Orange Congos.....I think the trouble was that it wasn't warm enough for these heat loving chillies to germinate...I basically put about 20+ varieties in a plastic bag at the same temp...most germinated right away, but some didn't and actually turned to mush...higher temps [+90F] might have helped them to sprout.
