Where to get bottles

I was just thinking. My dad got a new pressure cooker for him and has been canning more than an 80 year old lady. Now he has already made some mild hot sauce and has canned it up but I am wondering a few things for me.
1) If I were to make some hot sauce should I..
A. Bottle it in woozy bottles -or
B. Can it
2) If I were to bottle it where can I get woozy bottles from and do they or can they go in a pressure cooker?

Thanks for the help

Don't use a pressure cooker for woozies, just sterilize the bottle and hot pack them.
There are many places that sell woozies online but shipping is expensive so find somewhere nearby.

How to you sterilize them? How long would the hot sauce (or if I decided to make salsa) be good for and is one method of packaging better then the other between canning and bottling?

You just boil the bottles to sterilize or some people do it in the oven. With salsa you'll likely need to can in a thicker mouthed canning jar but sauces that are properly pH'd only need hot packing and can be done in a woozy or a canning jar. With woozies you'll need to turn the hot-packed bottle upside down for a few minutes to sterilize the inside of the lid.

And by hot packing you mean to put the sauce into the bottle while it is still warm correct? Is there a difference (besides the obvious) between whats better out of glass or plastic woozies or is it just what ever you prefer more?

Glass does not change size when heated. Plastic can suck in or expand on certain areas.

Plastic and glass can both alter a taste of a product, yes even glass. Glass is better to resist outside flavors being absorbed.

Oxygen can be breathed through plastic, thus creating a shorter shelf life then glass.

if you're doing this for yourself (& friends/family) & plan on making a good size batch. I'd can the stuff in some pint jars or jelly/jam jars & if its alot then do some in quart jars.
