Greetings from South Louisiana. Home of Superbowl XLIV Champs. I've been lurking around this site for a couple of weeks, getting some valuable info. I only have 4 plants.They are jalapeno, habanero, tabasco and banana pepper. I am also waiting for the Bhut's to come in. Hopefully today or tomorrow.
I've only eaten the tabasco and the jalapeno's as that is all I can find in my area. I'm hoping the habs and the Bhut's do well so I can experiment with cooking and drying for powder.
 
That makes two of us. They are supposed to start burning the oil today and I've heard that we will experience some ash residue in my area. Not looking forward to that. I live about 100 or so miles from the gulf so I hope I miss the residue.
