soil Soil Quality Test

IMG_0345.jpg

Both plants are Inca Red Drop. Both from seed. Both the same height when transplanted.
Plant on the left is in Pro-Mix. Plant on the right is in Miracle Grow Potting Soil. Other than that plants have been treated the same (ferts, water, etc.)
Gee....wonder which is worth using next year????
Just for reference, the "weed" growing in the middle is just under 4feet tall. (45 inches)

Be careful...that "weed" might end up eating most of your peppers as he grows older! ;) Cute kid...now...seems like the Promix is your go to soil now. I like the side by side trial...All I have to do now is find a local supplier.

haha yeah that plant is almost as big as the "weed" Doesnt look like your much of a garden killer. Did you add any compost to the promix or is it just strait promix? Also is it the promix BX? Sorry my curiosity does not stop. Great looking plant by the way & the pictures are great.

Pro Mix BX with about 1/8 compost at transplant time. Since then, everything for plants the same.
