Beautiful pods. They don't sell anything like that here. My rocotos are trying to set fruit before really cold weather, of course 39 is not warm but 80 tomorrow. We may have to bring them in and see what they do.
Man those are some big Rocotos, I had heard that some varieties got as big as bell peppers, If you have a few extra seeds I would love some. The ones I grow are not much bigger than a Cherry pepper. This year i had some kind of maggot bore its way into the stems and kill two plants that I had. They ate the center pulp of the stems and were about a inch to two inches long. Anyway great photo's and thanks for confirming that there are Manzanos out there that get as big as Bell peppers.
