I have just recently been introduced to the world of hot peppers. I've always like eating hot peppers but never got into the craze of it. I went to Weekend of Fire at Jungle Jim's a few weeks ago and now I have a whole new understanding. I tried some very hot sauces and salsas and entered the Defcon Death Match that evening. Had no idea what I was getting into and came real close to winning. So now I'm looking for recipes and referrals to peppers, salsas and sauces.
 
Thanks, yeah it was close. I started slow because I had no idea what I had got myself into. Finished strong though. It was a blast.

Wait until next year. There will be on-line registration and up to 100 contestants. We're in the process of working with Jungle Jim's to set everything up.
