new product going moldy please help

i have a great recipe for hot gummie chilis but i am in search of a perservative i can add to them i want to sell them but they have a 5 day shelf life. they get very moldy. very quick so i am in search of something that won't change the flovor but will incrres the shelf life. when was the last time you baught a bag of moldy gummy bears.
any help would be very appreciated

put them in a food saver packaging, then suck all of the air out of the package. should get the shelf life up a bit.
 
i was hoping to add something cause vacum packing them is not as pretty as letting them float in a bag. but i guess i could give it a try. cant hurt

hey VT you could try adding some citric acid to the mix you are making. Citric acid is a food preserivitive. Thats what they use in Gummy Bears. It is fairly inexpensive at around $3.00 for a 4 oz bottle.
