Stupid question from someone completely Facebook illiterate and probably will stay that way: If someone adds me as a "friend" is there anything else I need to do?  Do I approve this somewhere? Do I need to add them back as a friend to complete the deal?  I've gotten a few friends pop on to my profile and now I'm wondering if I've snubbed them by not replying with an "add friend" thingie.

Its a pretty cool feature as there are certainly a lot of friendly folks around.  They all must think I'm a jerk by now, however, since I didn't get back to them.  Or maybe it all went through on auto-pilot and I didn't know it.

Copy that, Accept Friend is on auto accept.

But do I need to manually add them as a friend also in order for my friend icon to show up on their profile?

I don't think so I think a friendship is mutual, not one-sided.

Mutual friendship, that's a good concept!

Thanks for the help.  I also discovered you must click on the Friends tab on the left side to see all the Friends in someone's profile, where as only 12 show up on the main profile screen.

G' Day.
