soil Mushrooms growing in my Jalepeno Soil

So I looked this morning and saw I have mushrooms growing in my Jalepeno pot just 2 of them, they are weird loking ones the stem with a flat round disc.. any idea what caused it and is it any harm to my jal plant?

well, I keep the plant watered on a regular basis.. it is in miracle grow (I found out MG is not good after I had transplanted it.. I will go ahead and pull them out

If they bruse blue, keep em. If not, pull them if you want. This means your soil is very moist but keep in mind, mushrooms are one of nature's composters ;)

I think its the mildly poisonous ones these guys are looking for.:)
I only eat wild mushroom if I'm 100% sure and I still don't always trust my identification skills.
There are only a few really severely poisonous mushrooms in North America and its the amanitas that have caused 90 percent of mushroom-related deaths.
