should i switch bulbs

do i need to switch our my bulbs in the HID light im running a metal halide right now but have a sodium light as well.

it depends if your MH is a conversion bulb in a HPS system. if it isnt, you cannot just switch bulbs. my setup uses a conversion bulb so i can switch to HPS whenever i want. hope that helps

Another strategy is to run both a MH and HPS at the same time.....best of both worlds and no changing lamps.
