Cheesy Bacon Stuffed Peppers...BANG!

THE PLAYERS:

3 Jamaican Mushrooms
2 Scotch Bonnets
1 Bahamian Goat
pre-cooked, chopped bacon
Philly cream cheese
Tillamook Extra Sharp Cheddar, grated
Panko bread crumbs
flour
eggs

Cheeses and bacon were mixed in a bowl.

Because I was concerned the flour would not stick to the unpeeled peppers, I brushed each one lightly with oil first.  I did the typical flour/egg wash/bread crumb routine.
All breaded and ready.

Oil was a little hotter than I would have liked, but the peppers weren't complaining.

Served with a pale ale brewed by yours truly using homegrown Cascade hops.
BANG!

Bon appetit!

With a little Siracha.

By the time I was done eating, by tongue was lit, my head was sweating, and my nose was running.  Two thumbs up, way up!!

I've made those exact poppers more than a few times.

I paid for it every time too.

I like the way you think.

Yeah, I wonder what tomorrow will bring...

You didn't eat that many, at least if you only ate what was in the pics.

Stupido me though.

I ate a few more than that on repeated occasions.

Next to the word Stupid in the dictionary was my picture for a while.

It's been a pretty good year for peppers in my garden. Poblano's and Jalapeno's stuffed with sauteed Vidalia onion, sausage and feta and wrapped in bacon make a frequent
appearance on the grill.
