Just occured to me that i never introduced myself before tapping you chiliheads for information. Down time at work, figured id give it a go.
Who am I: Sugar factory worker from Michigan. Couple kids. Best woman in the world. Grew up on a farm. Live on a hobby farm across from said farm.
How I started growin chilis: Random boring nights at work browsing youtube lead me to a video of a guy eating "the hottest pepper in the world, the ghost pepper". This amused me. Lead me to various other pepper eating videos. After mentioning it to a buddy he said "id eat a ghost pepper". So obviously it was time to grow a ghost pepper. Unfortunately i went to amazon where i did alot of shopping and bought what i believed to be hotter than bhuts. Maruga scorpions and carolina reapers. Turned out to be habs. Luckily a friend sent some pods and my other friend got to try his first superhot. (Video below if anyone cares, he actually took it pretty well. Shame it was dehydrated and not fresh)
Long story short, im hooked and the second garden has been approved by the little woman. Considering cutting down a tree to use its prime area for a third. Never liked that tree anyway. In the fall the leaves change oddly and i hate having a green/yellow tree. Damn things a packer fan, just asking for a chainsaw.
