Mucho Nacho hardly produced...

Did anyone grow Mucho Nacho Jalapeno this year? I grew them last year in buckets on my porch. I had peppers coming out of my ears until after the first freeze. This year, however, each plant produced one relatively early batch in July, and never flowered again. Other peppers, including ghost, scorpion, bell and chinese 5 color all did well in buckets, right next to the MN. Lots of sun and water....not sure what happened?
 
I grew one plant this year and it has done well but my only disappointment is that the peppers are not very big. They are just medium sized but the heat and taste are great.
 
This is the first year i have grown them and the taste and heat are great, but i also had a similar problem with low production. Anyone know how the heat of these compares to the biker billy jalapenos, i want to grow those as well next year.
