pests Bug lights.

I'm going all out this year to fend off pest before they become a problem I never use weed killer or pesticides not even some of the Organic ones, I'm thinking of placing bug lights every 10-20 feet,

I seem to remember checking into this and someone telling me do not do it because it will kill beneficial bugs also.. The way I see it now is. So what it will decrease the population of the bad ones at the same rate.

Am I wrong?

The issue I see is that not all pests are airborne.  Also I doubt a lot of plant pests will approach a bug light.  They are not necessarily attracted to light.

You could maybe use a bunch of potted predatory plants all around your garden.  Or maybe hatch a bunch of mantises and other beneficial insects.  Again, both will kill the beneficial bugs as well.
