Does anyone live in Flagstaff, AZ?

Two things:
1. Holy shitballs it's cold here. And why would anyone put in both tile bathroom & tile the area outside of the bathroom in a place where it's 26 degrees with a space heater that does fuckall to warm up the tile? Think linoleum people - this ain't rocket science.

2. Wanna have breakfast at IHOP tomorrow AM? We'll be there around 7.
:D

I wish I lived in Flagstaff. Beautiful area and only a hop skip and a jump from Phoenix. I used to go hiking up there and Payson a lot.
It is very pretty here. And cold as a witch's titty.

26 degrees? That is shorts weather for me!
I got out of the car in shorts & sandles. It was not my best plan.

Now then - T-minus-53 mins to pancakes - who's in?
:Woohoo:

With sausage, eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and gravy? :drooling:

... My God I am fat...

Breakfast was a total fail.the place we wanted to go was closed (no, not IHOP) so we went 3 doors down & they burnt all of the meat.

There's no excuse - dude was standing at the flatiron grill the whole time & we were the only ones in theres when we ordered. Cold eggs, cold toast, half cooked potatoes & the bacon, sausage & ham was a burnt on one side. He obviously dropped a press on it & ignored it until it was dead.

I was insulted that they put it on a plate and had the balls to bring it out to us.

Ah well - it happens I guess, but my god - breakfast might well be the easiest food to cook.

You may have wanted the guy on the left but you paid for the dude on the right

And sedona ...

I was there one year for the Fiesta Bowl parade ...

In the morning we marched in wool jackets and kilts and boots and hats w/ instruments on 110F pavement, and in the late afternoon we skiied in Flagstaff and required winter/snow gear ...

Blew my mind.

That was the closest I ever came to dying, that I'm aware of - the grand canyon is no joke ...

Also, jumping cactus suck, got to experience a tiny incident in that regard ...

Good times at the Red Lion Resort, though ...

I always remember seeing a A frame house on the way to my dads buddies cabin. How I always knew we was getting close. Stood out from the standard SW style homes.

Try Miz Zipps next time!
It's nothing fancy, just straightforward 'Merican food.  Good portion size and much less $pendy than frigging IHOP.

Yep. I've been a few times and loved it. Wouldn't wanna live there though. I'd miss fishing too much.

There's good trout fishing not too far away in the Lee's Ferry area.  Blue Ridge Reservoir is also well stocked.  Both are about two hours from town so, yea, dashing out ofter work to catch dinner ain't gonna happen.  :/

EDIT.
Doh! Oak Creek is entirely fishable, and just 30 min from the city.
