I may have to steal this recipe some time, is your mash litterally just peppers?

Or if not I'd imagine peppers and salt, possibly vinegar. But he hasn't logged on in awhile.

I will just mince up a bunch of peppers!

It is done!

 

I used 4 pounds of strawberries, and it worked out to 9 reapers, seeds included finely minced.

I only used one pouch of liquid pectin, I wish I had used two, it is fairly runny, but still thick enough for many uses.

My yield was 12.5 jars! 250ml size.

 

So this is a very basic strawberry jam recipe with just the addition of the reaper pepper. That being said, HOLY CRAP!!! 

What an amazing flavor! The heat is incredible and lingers for a long time! Full mouth and lip burn, including the back of the throat.

Just a superb pairing!

A definite winner!!!
