Growing farmers jalapeno?

What color are the pods in their first stage? Does the skin corking start in the beginning or the end of the season. I am not sure my plants are truly a farmers jalapeno.

My pods are green at the moment with no corking yet. Looks like a pointed jalapeño.

Ok and hopefully mine are correct and that makes me feel a little better. Nothing worse tan waiting all season for the wrong pepper

Jackson, Im here in Syracuse, North side. Ive got 6 Cracked Jalapenos growing, seeds from Pepperlover. Mine started corking as soon as they reached a deep dark green, Many are going over to red now, sweet and yummy for poppers.

Mine look like the pics Guatemalan Insanity Pepper posted. They started out green, and then started getting some corking. My Albanian Red Hots do the same thing.

Mine are staring green as well. lots of small pods. fuzzy like leaves are pretty cool
