Sooooo, yeah I need your help guys

Basically while I was away on vacation for 3 weeks, I left my peppers in the care of someone else, don't get me wrong i'm grateful to them but now my peppers are pale, weak etc. Can you guys diagnose the plants, there are 7 of them.

First guess is always too much care-- ie. Overwatering

 Too much water and that mulch isn't helping at all / But it looks pretty .

I thought as much, what about the ones in the buried pots? those are not overwatered and i can guarantee that

Sheeeit... yup.. too much care. But it also depends on what kind of soil you gave them in the first place, and the pot's are so small.... I bet they would look better and wouldn't mind a little much water if the pots were bigger. It's a learning experience every year my friend.
 
This year, for instance, got me thinking of putting up a shade for next year. Damn sun melted off a bunch of flowers and chiles are not even half loaded as they were last year

Same, I just use the mosquito netting tbh xd

But at least the growing conditions aren't rain and such this year so that is great
