So the wife decided to make some waffles from scratch and I already had the venison black bean chorizo chili simmering so why not finish off the last of the wings on the grill for chicken n waffles!

Haha. I like the addition of chili to the recipe. You gotta source your maple syrup from Louisiana. Yes! Louisiana has great maple syrup. Here in Cali specifically Pasadena is a place called Roscoe's. Anyway, I am told they get their syrup from Louisiana. Whenever we pass through Pasadena we have to stop at Roscoe's. Invariably on a Sunday, the busiest day of the week. Everything they do there is great down to the macaroni and the greens. You are on your way to stardom via chicken wings! Thanks for sharing.

To me the beauty of chicken and waffles is the sweet/savory mix, it works like chicken nuggets dipped in honey, so yes syrup please! Actually I like a syrup/butter/Frank's mixture...
