Nutrition Facts Label

FWIW, NIPs ( Nutrition Information Panel) are NOT required by the FDA if a free exemption is filed and renewed on a yearly basis if the business is under (20,000? 100,000?) units of sales and less than 100 employees.  Local or regional distributors or stores may require them, but that is their own business requirement, not FDA.  Some will take a product without a NIP, some will not.

Here's one from Oz/NZ which is free and works well, you just have to convert everything to metric and convert kilojoules to calories.  Several free converters online.  All my recipes are in grams anyway, so this one is easy to use.

call whomever is in charge of canning in GA and ask them the requirements.  In PA as long as my sales are under $50,000 no need for nutrition labeling, no fee or exemption to apply for.

Clarification...usually, sales in state are covered under local rules. If there are sales out of state via internet or whatever, that moves the biz to a different category.

DA SAWSS GUY,

I see you live in Smyrna, me too. Do you have your product out anywhere locally yet? I just cooked up a batch this past weekend if you want to swap some sauce to give each other feedback.
