The Count's Drunken Adventures In The Kitchen

I know we already have the drunken chef thread, but I'm going to start this anyway.  Almost anytime I snap a picture in the kitchen whisky is involved.  Don't let the beers with the plated pics fool you, I just crack one open to drink while eating since hot straight bourbon doesn't taste good with food to me.  The rest of the night is all WHISKY!!!  t didn't even know I had taken most of the pics I'm going to upload initially.  They date back to October 2015 or so and I just found them while uploading pics from the camera of a recent off-roading trip.

So lets start with Drunken Chicken Lo Mein…...

Next up is BBQ chicken, oven roasted potatoes and Ranch Style canned beans.

Tostados?  I seriously do not remember making or eating these!

I had this afternoon off so I decided he King Ranch Chicken could wait till tomorrow. Time to make carne guisada tacos for TBs taco thread. Im gonna be recreating a #17 from Taqueria Chihuahua, a taco joint from near my hometown. Its a guisada taco with bacon, cheese, refried beans, Mexican rice, pico and hot sauce.

I saw this chuck roast at Whole Foods and had to have it.

Never seen this! If that mushroom soup was refried beans I'd say Mexican lasagna. Burt I dunno!!! Looks awesome!

Mexican lasagna would be a good way of putting it. Ive had it with Doritos instead of corn tillas, and whole tillas instead of cut ones like I use. Quality chicken that isnt dry is the key to it IMO. You could add or subtract spices and other components, but good Chicken is a must.

One night while drinking and watching YouTube food review videos, I saw this sandwich get reviewed by NumberSixWithCheese from Ricobenes. I had to make it since its basically a chicken fried steak sandwich with Italian stuff. So here it is for the first time in my kitchen. It was AMAZING btw, and will be going in my recipe book
