Colours on this wellington brew are just wicked and changing.

Here's one from a local brewery. IPA with cilantro and Jalapeno. A little out of my box actually... (Iron Mike ruined me last week with some great Treehouse offerings... raised the bar a bit) It is good, not much if any cilantro notes come through, but incredibly heavy on the Jalapeno. Very bold with a slight back of the throat burn. Halfway through the first one. It contains both of my favorite loves (peppers and beer) but it is odd having them both together as such. Got five more, reckon I'll "yea or nay" afterwards..

Last nights dessert

Beer-A-Misu donut.
Grain & Grit bitter sweet double chocolate milk stout in the filling.

Hit Barncat and rythm and brews today on a rainy day tour.
Growler fill of Citra Bloom hibiscus pale ale
Glass of breakfast at twilight imperial maple coffee porter. Fantastic stuff. If you didn't know better you could be fooled into thinking it was finished in a bourbon barrel.

They make damn fine beer, I just don't get over there very often. Couple of homebrewers that got together to open the place, and have no real interest in expanding. Their stuff tends to be the holy grail /wish list of most serious beer nerds in Ontario at the moment. No core beers just small batch stuff of whatever they feel like making. I have seen some of there more anticipated releases only available for growler fills run out in under 6 hrs.
