And some super fun beers recently from CA. 4/20 Inspired beers, Golden Stouts, Magonita Beer, Fruited Sour and Good Ol' Blind Pig from Russian River for good measure.
 
Anybody here tried Pliny and Blind Pig? Favorite? Thoughts?...... Bueller

Very tasty

"This is a Red-Amber crystal clear beer with a typical riche nose and a fine froth. Mild on the palate withwell-balanced bitterness, and notes of caramelized malt."

Pretty fantastic for the style, but your milage may vary if you are an IPA fanatic.

Wow, this one was amazing! I crushed this bad boy last night, and enjoyed every single drop.

"Parabola is a beer of darkness and immensity, a barrel-­aged beast that is routinely ranked as one of the top beers in the world. This Russian imperial oatmeal stout is aged for a full year in Heaven Hill barrels, developing flavors of rich, chewy roasted malts, charred oak and bourbony vanilla. Stellar Parallax. Sooo tasty!

I sipped on this tasty Crooked Run IPA while grilling this evening. Very different, but pleasant hop profile.

"This mellow IPA is dry hopped with Taiheke and Denali hops and will take you far away to an oasis of lemon and mint."

Talk about a thirst quenching sour...this one is AMAZING! Aslin released this twice last year, but this new batch is really something special. I may have to buy another 4 pack tomorrow, as long as it hasn't sold out.

"El Frutero is a Sour Ale w/ watermelon, lime, habanero, & salt. This beer is the brain child of our brewer and his girlfriend, Blake & Clarise, and is made to mimic the end of one of their first dates - getting a snack from their local Paletero man! This beer tastes like a watermelon margarita with a hint of spice!"

Nice, Mike! I wish I had a fire pit. I would definitely roast some whole lambs, or whole racks of beef ribs over that.
