I'm pretty sure you're right.  My other CR plant from the same nursery has different looking pods than these, including tails, but still not like the reapers I've seen from other growers.  I did pick up another plant from a different source though, and I'm confident it is the real deal.  It just isn't as far along as the other 2 are.

I haven't really posted in here for a bit.  So here's some pepper porn to make up for lost time...

Chocolate Habanero.  The one on the left was grown outdoors, and the one on the right was grown inside under fluorescent lights.
 
 

 
Ghost Peppers.  These ones wound up being fatter and more on the orange side.  The ones I harvested earlier in the summer were a much more vibrant red.
