portveyn Nov 5, 2016 #1 Found good looking Jalapeno peppers at Asian supermarket. Decided to make a quick, cooked "green tabasco" sauce suddenly. Doing it: Peppers, Distilled Vinegar, Onion, Garlic, Salt, Coriander powder. Fairly hot, with basic flavor. Will taste again soon.

Masher Nov 5, 2016 #2 Yum!! Looks great....I found a similar sauce recipe...it didn't use the Cor seeds but has lime juice and dijon mustard added. It has become my every day basic sauce on everything. Upvote 0 Downvote

portveyn Nov 5, 2016 #3 Sauce tastes simply gooood. Pronounced jalapeno flavor with notes of roasted garlic and onion. The vinegar's acidity is well-integrated. I tried it with beef today, and it went very well. The heat burns but goes away fast. Upvote 0 Downvote
