Hi Everyone,
My name is Will. I live in Coatesville PA which is a western suburb of Philadelphia PA.
I've been growing cayenne peppers in my backyard garden for the past few years. My favorite peppers are the Italian Long Hots which I always order on my hoagies here in the Philly area.
I was informed a few years back that Italian Long Hots are really large cayennes, and in my quest to grow my own Italian Long Hots, I've grown the open pollinated Large Thick Cayennes, Hot Portugals, Maule's Red Hots and Yalova Charlestons as well as the Mesilla and Iberia hybrids...I love them all.
I'd like to try growing other types of mild and medium hot peppers next spring, while also experimenting with isolating my pepper plants so I can save pure seed from year to year.
Looking forward to learning more about pepper growing from the forum.
Best regards,
Will
