Scott you should like this.I'm still proving to my kids the best music ever made was in the 70's and 80's by taking them to see "Queen" in Omaha.

Nice to see your kids beginning to grow up Randy.  I always loved Queen's music. Brian May is a wizard on the guitar for sure. Who do they have to replace Freddie Mercury on the tour?

Adam Lambert?I pulled up a 2016 concert on youtube. He will never replace Freddie, but he does a nice job.

nice, I liked Omahas Mancuso theater. Seen manson there, best concert of my life. And it wasn't just the acid i'm sure. Love the fact there was no seats it was all open floor. Of course it's not the largest venue.
Those small venues are the best
I saw AC/DC open for Thin Lizzy in the Omaha music Hall in the 70's.It was there Powerage tour.kicked butt

Wow! I saw Queen during the Bohemian Rhapsody tour in 77? AND if my damaged bwain cells serve me right Thin Lizzy opened. Looked it up Feb. 1977 Nassau Coliseum, LI , NY. Gotta love the Internet.

Now this guy, who I will link to below really reminded me of Freddie Mercury! I was home sick two months ago and turned the TV on for the first time in 6 months, this guy was on an afternoon show. Funny haven't watched TV since. I don't think he sings rock, but he has a voice!

Your a lucky man to have seen the band before Freddie's death.I will just enjoy the night singing with the kids and the crowd to what I think will be a great show by May and Rogers.

I saw Billy Squier open for Queen in 1981.  Everyone was hoping David Bowie would show up.  Of course he didn't.  I have to say I am jealous of you guys that you are able to impress your musical preferences upon your kids.  My kids for the most part hate my music.  My daughter is actually an excellent singer and I have asked her for years to do Dust in the Wind and she outright refuses.  Maybe she can sing it at my funeral...  I do, on occasion hear some classic rock coming out of my youngest's bedroom.  Not much of the classic hard rock but more of the Jimmy Buffett stuff.  I will take it.

Took my daughter to her first concert when she was a junior in high school(2012) AC/DC in DesMoines. One 2 hour session with Angus tearing around like his hair is on fire was all it took. She is a Rock lifer now.

I just have to tell the story regarding AC/DC.

My kids at the time were like 7 and 10, now they're 32 and 35. "Daddy play Thunder Cheeks". Huh? Then I figured it out "Dirty Deeds" and they're done dirt cheap. Stick this in your fuse box! OK rambling...but the good times are still happening ;)

Back to peppers, now where were we? Oh yeah (just kidding)

Glad you're getting good germ rates and I'm pulling for round two to kick it!

Keep it green buddy and keep a rockin!

Traveling across the state of Iowa on Friday nights to go to my son's football games gave my daughter a baptism by fire.Singing TNT or Hell aint no bad place to be at the top of our lungs are memories with the kids that make me smile every time I think of some of our best times together.

I may have to raise my new 4 bulb set up off the babies.I gave them a drink with a little fish fert Friday and they dried up a little quicker than I like,

Today is separation Sunday.Of the 21 types above ground, the best 44 are alone in a 4-inch pot.Only 54 plants make the outside beds so the race is on.The 44 still must compete with my second batch of seeds in the incubator.I chose 4 inch pots because the 54 will be in 6 inch pots before the end of indoor growing and with Solo cups I won't have the room I want to start all the plants.
