So this year im growing about 15 aleppo pepper plants from seed and i was wondering if anyone had any experience growing this variety. There is very little info online about it and it seems that any google search on "aleppo" yields nothing but news of the war in syria. Does anyone have any info on what conditions they grow best in? I even regularly check the weather in aleppo syria to determine what their native conditions are lol. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks guys

I grew them last year along with 50 other varieties of peppers, I didnt do anything special wiyth them and they grew just fine, gave them about 8 hrs of full sun per day in my garden location.  They make fantastic powder and had many friends begging for more but sadly I only frew 3 plants.

Thats about all I got

cheers

I know that since the Syrian war most commercially used Aleppo peppers are actually grown in Turkey. More than anecdotal information I can't give you. Most pepper growers grow peppers outside of their natural environment anyway, so just do your thing and treat them well!

I grew them a couple of years ago here in South Carolina. They did well and were very productive. Just treat them the same as other annuums.
