Has anyone run across this before? I ordered masterblend from Morgan County Seeds and got an email saying

Help! Insanity has struck! Morgan County Seeds has received your order, numbered 23676, and we will fill it as quickly as we can and as you requested but the spring rush has started and we may be up to 2 weeks behind.

I do NOT use the web site store to communicate with you. You will not find your order status there. I will email you when your order ships. The web store will tell you that your order is on hold. It is NOT on hold. It is in the pile waiting its turn to be filled.

2 weeks to ship? That's a little crazy. Anyone experience this before? Should I wait or is there somewhere else I can get masterblend fertz?

From their website.> MORGAN COUNTY seeds

OUR BUSINESS

I’ve been told in business, customers have 3 desires: good, fast, and cheap. I’ve also been told you can have any two at the cost of the third. For example, if the desire is fast and good, it won’t’ be cheap. We choose to operate under the desire of providing good quality and reasonable prices, so during our busy season there will be a delay in processing and filling your order.

We do understand that every once in awhile, unforeseen events require a more speedy response, and since we truly want happy, repeat customers, we will do whatever we can in those instances. We do believe in those case, a $5.00 rush charge is appropriate.

Most of the seed and supplies get here in January. We will start to ship orders as soon as we can. The first 3 months of the spring, we may be up to 3 weeks behind in filling orders. At the end of most seed descriptions, we will note whether seed is treated or untreated. We will try to keep this as accurate as possible. However, as we have no control over some of our seed suppliers, seed may be stated as untreated & when shipped to us it maybe treated. If you need all untreated seed, please state so on seed order form. Please also supply us with a phone number in case we need to contact you about your order.

There you go. I only saw where they said they try to ship next day and when they are busy up to three days.

But you are right, it is on their front page so I can't really complain.

Final update, it was only delayed a few days. They called and word shipping like I requested. Got my stuff fine.

On another note, good God they need to enter this century with their tech.

On the good, fast and cheap: I order some craft supplies from China.  Most of it is good, all of it is cheap, but fast is not a word I would describe.
