I have a tomato plant that got "topped" by a critter of some sort. Does this mean the only way for it grow vertically is from a sucker? The growing tip got chopped. Should I just replace it?
You know how peppers can switch dominant meristems, tomatoes do this even more, especially the more "viney" varieties. It will be fine as long as there is at least 1 axillary bud.
