Starting to grow.

Hi all im starting to grow some chillies in uk (yorkshire)(i know its late but they are inside in a heated prop and garage).
I bought some carolina reapers, dorset nagas and pink tigers (like the look of them) and i got some thai hot and numex heritage free.
I now have them germinating (some in kitchen towel, some in jiffy 7's and some in jiffy 7's soaked in weak tea. All in my heated prop.
When they have sprouted i can put some on my windowsill in heated garage and some in my grow cupboard under 2 35 w cfls and 1 led growlight.
Ill.post some pictures when i get chance and try keep It upto date.

Hi all not posted in quite a while. Out of all my seeds i kept a carolina reaper plant. Does rhis look right to you all as its shot up in the last 3 weeks and looks strange to me.

Looks like it seriously needs some calcium supplementation - especially if it underwent a rapid growth phase.  And not even to mention the smal container size.

Suggest a weekly or bi-weekly feeding of calcium based, liquid nutrient.  Maybe at 1/2 recommended strength.

Tbh mate yeah i am neglecting her a bit as i have other stuff going on. Can you recommend any calcium supplements for her. And i will repot her in morning.
 
Well, there are so many options, depending on your growing style.
.
You can go all natural, and used powdered eggshells dissolved in Vinegar.
.
You can go commercial, and use a complete fertilizer that has calcium.  In your area, I think you will have the best luck finding Dynagro Foliage Pro.

You can also just use a fish fertilizer.  So long as it has at least 5% calcium, preferably more like 7%.

I don't like expensive commerical options, like Cal Mag.  But if that's what you have, use it.
