WHP 2018 Really Late Glog

Well, I am still alive somehow. This year has been most pressing on my time.  This is the first night in memory I have sat down before 10.  Figure I could start a crude glog, mostly pictures probably and not much writing.  Its been the busiest year ever for me, for everything in life really, from peppers to family to other projects and the real job.   I have tried to keep up on some media, but couldn't all.  I am hopeful with the tapatalk app I can update this easier.

Anyway the grow is smaller again than last year but still above 250 plants, but less than 300.  I have had a few loss and take a few out I lost interest in, so not sure the exact count.  Some are producing at rates I have no seen before, others just average.  I'll start with some more recent pics and work my way around, as I get time.

I hope to find a few minutes here and there to catch up with a few glogs and post once in a while now that I finally got this done.  Sorry to all those I have not been able to keep in contact with very much.

Still one of my all time favorites - and they are killing it again this year.  Peach Bhut WM from Wicked Mike originally.

Another favorite pepper - Congo Trinidad Giant Yellow - some really tasty big yellow meaty pods.

These are still an unknown.  I assume they have reaper or primo in their background.  This was a mislabel or plant mix up last year, so not even sure what it was supposed to be.  I called it WHP 006 one of the accidents and unknons.  This year they are growing about the same, some of the angriest looking pods I have.

just catching up on your Glog  :)

I too have been busy, also had some health issues this year, in and out of the hospital a few times  :mope:
I wanted to say; I have not forgotten about you, and i do feel bad that i have not sent you a bunch of sauces and spices to try yet   :(
but i haven't made any sauces :hotsauce:   in almost a year  :mope:
I actually didn't even enter the state fair with any Jams and Jellies this year either
freezer is full of vac packed fruit and peppers  :!:
you are first on my list when i get around to time for sauces and jams.

thanks again for all you do to provide a HUGE assortment of seeds available to the pepper community

Hey, sorry to hear you had some health issues, I hope all is looking better now. You dont have to worry about sending me anything, just get better. I am sure catching up with this glog couldn't have taken more than about 2 minutes. Going to try to add more pics, but typing is painful at times so might be short on words.

Purple reaper, I dont know the cross that made this, got them from a friend in Brazil, but a majority of pods have this shape. Huge plants over 7 feet tall now, that pod caught my eye as it was reaching for the sky and was right at eye level.

Justin you have hit all the high notes ..... unbelievable pods ... interested in photos 4 and 5 ... love that shape
Those are some of the phenos of what I called bahamian beast last year. They lack the size, but shapes are better. I have peach and red with 90% pods showing that shape this year. The mustard is less consistent, a bit 50%. I have a lot more info about something going on with this one I'll post later.

Well, whatever it is. let us know what you call it and when you have seeds for sale. Great Zeus, that is a gorgous plant and pepper.

White hot lime, one of my favorite pods this year, this started out as a black bhutlah cross, has a distinct lime taste, the second wave of pods have some great shapes

Yup...I want it.

Great looking pods everywhere, Justin! Very nice photography, too. I thoroughly enjoy stopping in on this glog. I've got my eye on quite a few.
