Penne tossed in a rocoto marinara & dusted with cotija, dungeoness crabcakes spiked with diced aji amarillo & molded with penko bread crumbs, garic bread made with fresh Vienna roll split and toasted with freshly minced garlic and french butter, and sliced cucumbers with a french onion/hummus spread dusted with gochu.

What you are saying is Brooklyn needs a Costco :D

Costco has the best lamb, and the best deals on lamb in my area. Whole butchered NZ lambs are $100, and Australian rib chop racks fluctuate between $15-$22, depending on market prices. Halal as well, so my Muslim brothers don't have to skip out on any meals or parties I throw.

Dungeoness crabs in season, which started early November in Cali, are always low price during the first few months of the season.

I shop for the deals, man, and in this instance, Costco delivered the goods!

Chicken tenerloins pan seared with smoked aji dulce powder and S&P. Broccoli & califlour dusted with gochu, and rice covered in Yasai Fumi Furikake.

Sunday breakfast

Huevos Rancheros. Eggs smothered in a creamed Hatch green chile sauce (green chiles, cotija, heavy whipping cream), pan fried potatoes, beans with melted cheese, and a morcilla argentina.

Lomo saltado😀

Sliced flank steak marinated with aji panca, garlic, soy sauce, and black vinegar. Flash pan seared with sliced home grown aji amarillo and red onions. Served with freshly hand cut fries and white rice. A couple of spoonfuls of cooking broth was ladelled over to soak in the rice and fries😁

My wife likes them separate. The juice forms enough of a pool, that it soaks in quite well into the fries anyway.

White cremini mushroom lasagna dusted with gochu, and extra spicy kimchi. The acid/spicy from the kimchi compliments the creamy lasagna oh so well😁

Thanks man, I cooked some up last week. I always keep an eye on the fresh catch/price situation at my seafood market. The fresh prawn/price ratio usually hits well every other Monday.

Dinner last night. I forgot to post it. I was enjoying a taaaasty stout.

Pan fried cornish hen dusted with peach bhut salt, steamed artichoke, and rice pilaf.

Pan seared salmon and scallops with an aji limo/lime/mayo sauce, baked acorn squash drizzled with honey/butter/aji dulce powder, pão de queijo, and steamed veggies.

Wine/garlic/rocoto/stock braised short rib, red curry mashed potatoes, steamed green beans and carrots dusted with gochu, and cremini mushrooms simmered in the pre-reduced braising sauce.
