'Siletz' seeds are common here because it was developed at Oregon State University.

I'll be saving some seeds     ;)

In any case, it must be genetic, i.e. the toughness
of the fibers composing the ring. Weather conditions
could then dictate how it plays out in the real world.
I like the look of the 'mushroom' pods   :D

I've never seen that before... Until I looked at my ow 7pod caramel today. None of my plants ever did that. IMG_20190827_201514.jpg

I agree, there are some great pods coming off that one.

Should have a pic of a few later today.

Hope all is well, Mika.

Thanks, Scott. Finally some action in that department!

We are going to be out of town for a bit, so there should

be some great color when we return. My son and my

neighbor will be watching over things for me. Hope all

the pods don't ripen and rot before we get back!

There are about a half-dozen monster JA Red Habaneros ripening up.

I love this strain. Thanks to WalkGood for bringing it back from Jamaica.

I got some of the seed from both he and Devv at the same time, so I don't

remember which I used.

it is hard to be patient waiting for the Bhut Jookia, chocolate variety, to ripen.

They seem to take forever.

Those Bhut's are looking great and they're on a good way to ripen soon, I'd say about 10 days maybe and :fireball:
