What will you grow this year? Need ideas.

Hello. I'm thinking about varieties of chillies I should grow this year. Previous season I grew following:

* Carolina reaper
* Habanero orange
* Bhut Jolokia yellow
* 7 Pot Jonah

Think I'll drop 7 Pot Jonah for this year as I really didn't like it. Would you recommend any additional pepper? I like to make different kinds of sauce and experiment with it.

You might try a brown variety, I would recommend the Jamaican Hot Chocolate Habanero.

Was thinking about habanero chocolate yes. Are they any good for hot sauce?

I grew choc habs for several seasons a while back. Never sauced them, so I can't speak to that, instead I'd dry and powder them. I liked the powders fine, but what I noticed is choc hab powder has a distinct flavor profile and some people really really like it.   I find it particularly good on roasted corn and other roasted vegetables.  I can imagine it's really good in rubs too, as @alkhall suggests.

Here are some of the varieties I planted:
-Carolina Reaper
-Carolina reaper yellow
-Bhut Yolokia Red
-Bhut Yolokia yellow
-Bhut yolokia caramel
-Habanero Orange
-Habanero Red Savina
-Habanero Chocolate
-Peach tiger
-Bolivian rainbow (to be used as a decor plant)
-Jamaican Scotch bonnet
