Finally some sun after a week of rain.

Plants are doing good ( apart from reaper and swampthing).
They are growing well and I added more pallets to give the plants some space.

This view is not as good as what others have.. but it is still a view I like to sit and watch while I work.

Caught this busy guy pollinating each flower so religiously

I started with 2 ghost pepper plants last year and over wintered one of them.
It did not come back after I moved it outside in April. I thought I lost it. But then a little side branch shot out from the dead ( or so I thought) main branch.
And lo behold, there is a main branch from the side shoot and the plant is doing great. Couple of pods already. Will be a good bonchi project this winter.

And now, watch and fear the wrath of cthulhu.

lol.I have never seen so many flowers from single node. It would be cool if all of them sets pods.
This is on the leviathan gnarly scorpion plant.

Other plants updates and poddage pics will follow shortly.

Leviathan gnarly scorpion plant has started setting pods. I am so excited to see how they will turn out.

I am not sure why my bell pepper pods are shooting up into the sky

And I caught these pods 'spooning'. lol. These are from 'guntur sannam' plant. Usually I see 1 pod per node. But here I see 2. I am not sure if this is common in annums.

Another plant I am excited about is this Mako Akokostrade pepper. It has been setting tons of pods and is very prolific.

The 3 Bs (Bishop crown, brazillian starfish and Bahamian goat) are doing well.

Hungarian wax. I am not sure when I should harvest these. Any pointers?

CD, I am happy to say that I finally have a Rocoto plant (arequipa giant). Thank you for the seeds.

Hawkins, thank you for the Shishito plant. I am loving the peppers.

Finally, Bold Badger.. I planted your mystery seeds in ground (everything else was started as seeds indoor). I got multiple germinations but got 1 plant to survive and grow strong. It finally started to flower and have a pod. I am excited to see what plant it would turn out to be.

That's awesome saiias! Your Arequipa looks super happy/healthy and will put out some solid pods in those 5g blues. Curious how you'll find the pod set. It set well in the heat for me, but Seattle heat is different. And jeez, I can almost smell that plate of Shishitos!

The Cappuccino Tepin and CGN 23258 (started late) that you sent me are doing great and just starting to produce. The Aleppo is a little behind (my fault), but coming along as well. Much appreciated!

I think so. I looked at your 10-day and I expect the rocoto will want it a bit cooler before it really starts setting. My understanding is the male parts of the flower need only a rather brief period of proper weather for them to produce viable pollen, but the female portions of the flower require a longer period because they can be damaged by excessive temperatures during early development affecting their ability to produce after pollination. I suspect once you hit some consistently cooler weather things will really start to happen.

The positives are: I think the Giant Arequipa is more heat tolerant then most rocotos; you'll have a bigger plant when it starts producing, so you likely will get good production of bigger pods; and the rocotos are pretty cold tolerant, so they may have a longer season for you than some other varieties if you can keep them away from frost. With my rocotos in buckets, I just pull them into the house or garage when it's going to get below the upper 30's and stick them back out again after.

I wish I could tell you what that one is but I have no clue, lol. Maybe once it changes color I'll have a better idea.
