Hello team, I have been on this forum before but thought id check in again. I was previously living North of Auckland which supported great growing conditions for chilli but now Im living in Otago growing chilli may be near on impossible..
 
Never the less, I will give it a go! 
 
Edit: I'd also like to hear from anyone growing super hots in the lower south island.

Welcome mate. I moved from West Auckland (started growing when we lived in Whangarei though) to Hawkes Bay a few years ago.
Amazing how different the season is just 5 hours drive away......

Good luck in the deep south though, its gonna be very different to what you're used to!
Theres some cheap hothouses on trademe which I suspect you'll need......
