I was just curious how the cross-breeders on here track and tag their crosses? Right now I'm just putting a little bit of green twist tie around the stem of the flowers that I pollinate, but that will only work while I'm only attempting one cross. I'm thinking I'll need a water proof label and a spread sheet, but I'm wondering if anyone has a more sophisticated system, or any recommended products.

Thats about what I was looking for. Do you use them outside? Do they hold up to the weather?
Yes for a month or two, long enough to harvest the pod. Make sure you use ink that won't run or bleed. I try to keep the original tags in the bag with the seeds afterward as well.
