#1605935 WTB: Ghost Pepper Seeds (Variety)

Posted by wrinklenuts on 16 January 2019 - 09:19 AM

I say Justin AND Sawyer.  It's fun having different ghosts from multiple sources because there are small differences within the same variety.

#1605572 Anyone growing naga this year?

Posted by wrinklenuts on 14 January 2019 - 09:04 PM

I grew an Indian Carbon in 2017. This year I'm trying a Naglah.. but, I might go back to the I.C. in the fall.    Indian Carbon pic from '17.

I have Indian Carbons from pepperlover and they rock.

#1605073 Anyone have extra seeds/varietys?

Posted by wrinklenuts on 13 January 2019 - 11:55 AM

When I came here I spent 60 bucks on seeds from white hot peppers, then did some trades. Then I bought a bunch of labeled pods from Texas hot peppers. I have a ton of seeds and I still bought more this year lol.

I have the same issue. I keep buying and trading for more. Lol

#1603881 Red Ghost Original Strain Plants for sale

Posted by wrinklenuts on 07 January 2019 - 09:31 PM

I updated my "available for trade" list in my profile. All of those are available for trade or purchase as seeds immediately. Plants to be available by request and prior arrangement.

In addition to the original isolated ghost, I have seeds from isolated plants grown last year, as noted above.

The Papa Dreadie seeds are also isolated and are from an OW plant grown from one of the original 4 seeds Windchicken sent to me.

Everything else is not isolated, but I saw very, very few honey bees in '18. So it seems likely most will be true to type.

We need to trade. Ill pm you soon.

So I bought the seeds from Judy for the first time :) All good, two extras, although I have a concern about quality of the seeds, they look really dry and old according to the color they have, but will see.

Her bhut jolokia yellow is hot as hell although she has it listed not as a chinense. Weird.
Watch out for the brown moruga. The hottest pepper ever with brutal and I mean brutal stomach cramps. I want to get some Trinidad beans and Bombay morich too. Good selection bro!

Aye ornamentals would prolly be worst case for me anyways as far as anything usable. I grew some this past summer (not by choice) and they did have heat just zero flavor the ones I had.
Would be great if someone had a good indoor grow and gave these a real good head start to hopefully have an idea what was to be expected. Might even try something like a couple kratkys or something since I wanted to try the method anyways

Which ornamentals did you grow that had no flavor? I agree with you btw. I grew black pearl once and it sucked

Bourbon County Stout (2018) 15.2%ABV, $10.99 for a bottle. Absolutely amazing beer, if you can find it. It goes on sale around Thanksgiving every year.

Wow....$11.00 a bottle. It better be good. Lol
